MULLAGE! THE COLLAGE OF MUSIC!
December 18, 2009the only similarity between versatility … and change … is difference - DATZHOTT!

HOTT AND RAW EXCLUSIVE!
Both born and raised in Atlanta, singer/rappers B Town (Braelon McMullen) and B Boi (Marquez Hutchinson) were introduced by a mutual friend while while serving in the U.S. Navy. After collaborating intermittently (notably earning first prize for performing “The La La Song” in a local talent competition), the twosome found their big break in “I Gotta Get Her.” Recorded for B Boi’s solo LP, the record attracted label attention and ultimately led to a deal with Jive Records. Now, fueled by the steadily increasing success of “Trick’n,” MULLAGE are busily working on their collective major-label-debut, “The Element of Versatility.”
In this HOTT AND RAW EXCLUSIVE!, Mullage discuss the genre-fusing musical approach that will ensure their forthcoming full-length lives up to its title, things that inspire their unique sound, and how the duo’s shared military background has affected their musical career.

WHAT‘s HOTT!!! ABOUT MULLAGE!?!
The way their destiny collided!
Although they both grew up in Atlanta just a few miles apart, it took them traveling half way around the world to meet by way of the US Navy. Instantly they realized they shared a common bond- Music. Although they were stationed on different ships, that didn’t keep them from recording and performing whenever the opportunity presented itself.
As soon as they got out the Navy, B Boi and B Town returned to Atlanta with one goal in mind, to make musical history. It didn’t take long for the industry to catch wind of this new dynamic duo. After a high energy performance at the legendary Blue Flame and thanks to Carlos and Osei The Dark Secret and Kamal they signed to From The Ground Up Records and the rest is history. With their unique experiences and world travel brace yourself for something different a musical collage- Mullage.
