Lawsuit settlement or bust!

The rapper apparently pelted a guy when he tried to leave Busta’s show, and now he’s gotta pay up for the offense.

Back in 2003, BUSTA RHYMES apparently pelted a guy with a couple water bottles when he tried to get up and leave one of the rapper’s shows, and now Busta’s gotta pay up. He has to give Alex Duncan $75,000 for the offense, which also includes throwing water at the guy.

The 32-year-old concertgoer says he was at the show to see Fabolous, another rapper, and decided to bounce when Busta came on. Busta was having none of that, and then got in a scuffle with the dude. Alex testified that Busta had told him: “You didn’t hear me say, ‘Get down?’ ” To which he replied: “I don’t got to move.”

Alex then told the “Touch It” rapper he wasn’t there to see his act, and, look out, Busta said: “I’m not good for you?” then launched the water bottle. Ouch.

Alex also said the rapper’s bodyguard punched him. Whether or not that’s what really went down that night, the judge awarded the money to Alex after Busta, 37, was a no-show for all 7 of the court hearings. Trevor Smith, lawyer for Alex, said: “It looks like we busted up Busta’s rhyme.” Good one.
